Sewing and Crafts
Program Participants who show an interest in learning to sew or to create crafts for fun or profit enjoy a wide array of materials and tools, as well as instruction and support. While we do emphasize quality and attention to detail, each participant learns according to their interests and abilities.
Stable Living currently has three sewing instructors and staff with a vast range of crafting, woodworking, and iron work skills and experience.
Your purchase of Stable Living products directly benefits the program participants who craft them.
Besides a fully stocked craft room, our sewing and craft supplies and tools include, among many other things:
- 7 sewing machines
- Embroidery machine
- Woodburning tools
- Laser engraver
- Hundreds of yards of fabric
- Hundreds of yards of ribbon and trim
- Decorative rubber stamps and ink
- Decorative papers, glue, and hot glue
